I dont even know what to say about this episode. I MEAN... i had so much fun with the whole Villanelle Jesus. It’s the most beautiful shit i’ve ever seen. And the fact that Villanelle kissed a version of herself in drag and dressed as Jesus Christ is just... like... i’ve never thought something like that could even exist.
Now... Can we talk about Eve being super incredible and looking hot as shit and the going to Helene’s house like it was nothing and me having a gay panic attack and her coming out of there like a champ? LOVING THIS

'Sardar Udham': a brilliant, red hot furnace that forges the portrait of a patriot
‘Sardar Udham’: a brilliant, red hot furnace that forges the portrait of a patriot
He may not have agreed to the title of this review, alluding to him as a patriot. For, that was never the point of his 21-year old stake-out to register a protest that would shake the British empire’s stiff upper lip into a worried quiver. “Let the world know I was a revolutionary,” he says in the face of imminent execution. In a world that’s now twisted into a grotesque abstract that defines…

‘The Holly Kane Experiment’ Review
‘The Holly Kane Experiment’ Review
The idea of subliminal messages in the media or used as a weapon have always been the thing of the paranoid mind. There is a possibility of course that they are real, and we are all being controlled. The Holly Kane Experiment is a movie that looks at the possibility of a successful method for subliminal messaging being created, then used for a very dark reason. Holly Kane (Kirsty Averton) is a…

Watch Noomi Rapace as ‘Seven Sisters’ in Population Control, One Child Per Family Sci-Fi Thriller with Glenn Close & Willem Dafoe
“In the last 50 years we’ve doubled our population. In four days there’s a million more people on the planet, it is the biggest crisis in human history.” In ‘Seven Sisters’ the year is 2073 and the Earth is overpopulated and famine has forced governments to undertake a drastic One-Child Policy.
“How do you plan on hiding this?” “I’ll manage.” “Have you thought about names?” “There’s Seven,…

Sardar Udham Review: Vicky Kaushal Delivers His Best Performance To Date
Sardar Udham Review: Vicky Kaushal Delivers His Best Performance To Date
Sardar Udham: A still from the film. (courtesy YouTube) Cast: Vicky Kaushal, Amol Parashar, Shaun Scott, Stephen Hogan, Banita Sandhu, Kirsty Averton Director: Shoojit Sircar Rating: 4 stars (out of 5) The scale of the meticulously structured period narrative is grand but Sardar Udham, helmed by Shoojit Sircar, shuns the trappings of a Bollywood biopic. But that certainly isn’t the film’s sole…

Aberdeen Celebrity hoping to Movie in Town
A guy who won TV celebrity playing an ogre is hoping to premier his very first feature film role in the North-east.
James Rose was seen by countless as Simon the Ogre from the Thomson Holiday (now Called TUI) TV adverts.
The 39-year-old, who grew up in the Midstocket of Aberdeen, has completed filming The Holly Kane Experiment and hopes to host the UK premier.
The thriller was filmed in London and Brighton with celebrity Kirsty Averton.
The film, which has already been published in Japan and Germany, comes following a year of voiceover, adverts and platform work for James.
The Robert Gordon University graduate said: “It is hard to pick a highlight since they’re all such unique experiences. Performing in theatre it’s just you on point whereas the Thomson advert took a whole team.”
Landing the part in the Thomson advert, which won a Silver Lion award at the Cannes Festival of Creativity, was a genuine challenge for James.
The prior Aberdeen Grammar School student said: “It was a difficult procedure, I needed to go through five or four auditions and I recall the last point it had been between me and a totally huge man and I thought I had no chance!
“But it went very well and I really made the judges yell. I had been the final one to be throw then we flew to Crete to document it”
James’ adventures in adverts continued after he had been cast as a farmer for dairy brand Arla’s advertisement. He explained: “With the Arla firm, it had been completely different. It had been taken in Devon and it was about the scene and reacting to the scene — it was really uplifting.”
This season wasn’t restricted to adverts for James, since he had a foray into voiceover and comedy work.
He explained: “I am drawn more to play but I had an interesting experience with comedy this season.
“I played a daddy figure in an independent comedy to a great up-and-coming actor who played Matilda in the West End.
“I got to do some voiceover work in a new BBC Scottish hospital play called ‘Trust Me’.
“It is unusual — it’s just you in the studio, in the dark with all the engineers”
In 2005, James moved from a career in business to chasing his dream of becoming a celebrity when he moved to London to study acting at Oxford Drama School.
Speaking on which sparked his change of profession, James stated: “I realised that anyone could act, it’s just about pursuing your passions and fantasies.”
